Julia Schneider was born on 20 September 1974 in Fulda, the daughter of a graphic designer and a primary school teacher. She is the founder and owner of the interior design office Ôiam interior.architects.munichÕ in Munich. During her studies, Julia Schneider already gained professional experience in renowned offices, including the office of Professor Klaus Schmidhuber in Munich and at Ô1100 ArchitectÕ in New York. After graduating, she worked in the offices of ÔSchmidhuber und PartnerÕ and ÔO.S.A Ochs.Schmidhuber.ArchitektenÕ in Munich before founding her own office Ôiam interior.architects.munichÕ in 2014. From 2007 to 2010, Julia Schneider was a lecturer in the ÔInterior DesignÕ department at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences. She is also a regular jury member for competitions. Her projects have been published in various trade journals and books and she and her team are annual winners of prestigious awards.
