InkPoster Duna by Pininfarina

InkPoster Duna 40.5" combines digital art, innovative e-paper technology and high-quality interior design. Developed in collaboration with the renowned Italian design house Pininfarina, this digital art frame displays works of art on a large-format 40.5-inch E Ink Spectra 6 display featuring Sharp IGZO technology. Measuring approximately 113 × 88 cm, the display is roughly equivalent to A1 format, making a striking statement in spacious rooms.

Duna is particularly well-suited to the hospitality sector – hotels, restaurants, cafés and bars. In these settings, wall design plays a crucial role in creating the atmosphere and enhancing the overall guest experience. Unlike traditional digital signage screens, the e-paper display does not look like a technical device: it has no backlighting and displays images with a paper-like, matt and glare-free finish. As a result, the InkPoster blends harmoniously into high-quality interior designs, allowing the art to take centre stage. At the same time, there is no distracting screen glow, blue light or heat – a particular advantage for restaurants, hotel rooms, lounges, lobbies or quiet wellness and relaxation areas.

Another advantage for hotels and catering establishments is the flexible design of the spaces. Artworks can be changed digitally and thus adapted, for example, to the season, an event, the décor or the desired atmosphere. The InkPoster solution also allows content to be managed across multiple locations. This enables hotel groups, restaurants or other hospitality concepts to change their décor regularly without having to take pictures down, reframe them or replace them. The InkPoster Gallery offers more than 2,000 works of art across 24 categories; in addition, Duna owners gain access to selected sketches and design studies from the Pininfarina archive.

The wireless and energy-efficient design is particularly practical for professional use. Duna requires no permanent power supply and can operate for up to twelve months on a single battery charge. Energy is primarily required when changing the displayed image. This means the frames can be positioned almost anywhere without the need for visible power cables or additional sockets – a significant advantage, particularly in existing spaces with high-quality design.
