Rather than imitating the shapes or colors of real flowers, the series draws inspiration from nature in fragments, transforming them into abstract forms and unexpected color combinations.
The author builds on the rich Czech tradition of handcrafted glass flowers, particularly the distinctive hand-shaping style of the Bohemian Highlands, where he grew up. With this knowledge, he pushes the boundaries of the tradition, using unconventional glassworking techniques to shift the flowers into more abstract forms.
Drawing on experience from our vase collections, the same unique glass-forming methods are applied here, creating a shared visual language across our work. Now, our vases can be complemented by individual floral objects or striking bouquets, serving as bold, sculptural centerpieces.
