Taking its name from the Italian word for “woodland”, Bosco channels the wilderness through its organic texture and grounding colour palette. Its wintry, woolly character carries a reassuring weight, embracing furniture like a warm blanket and bringing cocooning comfort and a much-needed sense of nature to contemporary interiors.
Produced in Vescom’s own weaving mill in Germany, Bosco draws on decades of expertise in materials and woven textiles. Different yarns are carefully combined to create its layered structure: bouclé lends depth, while chenille provides a soft, downy texture. The resulting fabric has a warm, retro character reminiscent of melange wool.
Bosco is available in 23 muted tones inspired by the forest. The palette ranges from the lush greens of foliage, lichen and moss to wild-berry purples, earthy shades of soil, dried leaves and bark, and the blues of twilight glades and slick stones. Because the fabric is yarn-dyed, every yarn contributes its own colour and structure, giving each colourway a lively, naturally layered appearance.
